Great location, close to town centre and lots of lovely walks around the area. The locals were friendly and there were plenty of unique and independent shops to explore. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a very well-equipped kitchen. The tasteful decor was a nice touch, and the instruction guide made using the appliances easy. a bottle of wine and glasses were left for us in the kitchen, which was a lovely surprise.
The main road location meant that there was quite a bit of traffic noise, especially at night when we had the windows open. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The cottage itself was beautifully presented, with attention to detail in all aspects. The double glazing effectively blocked out any road noise, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The addition of blinds and curtains on the front windows also provided privacy. The cleanliness of the cottage was impeccable, and we were delighted to find fresh, clean towels and comfortable beds. The well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze, and the bottle of wine left for us as a welcome gift was a lovely touch. We were also impressed by the baby-friendly amenities, such as the baby gates, travel cot, and cupboard locks, which made our stay even more convenient.
We felt extremely happy with our stay at Burlington Cottage and have no complaints whatsoever.
